First weekend in May

The Laughlin River Run 2013 has come to a close but many other events are already gearing up for the upcoming weekend.  The heatwave backed off a bit, next few days should only be in the 80's in Laughlin.  Hopefully the wind will stay down as well.

Smoke On The Water - BBQ Festival 
BBQ, judging, demonstrations, and great food and music all in one.

Live music will also be provided by:
Powerhouse on Friday from 12noon to 3pm
Groove, Inc. on Friday at 4pm
The Mustangs Saturday 4pm-5pm and 5:45pm-7:30 pm

Takes place at the Riverside Resort
Friday, May 3rd  11am - 7pm
Saturday May 4th, 11am - 7:30pm
Admission is free.

Baja Days Festival
On the Riverwalk between the Edgewater and Colorado Belle Casinos.  This is their version of a Cinco de Mayo fest featuring musicians and classic Mexican food with a Baja theme.

Music will include a mariachi band, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, and a Beach Boys tribute band.
Friday, May 3rd 4pm-9 pm
Saturday, May 4th 12noon-9 pm
Music is free, food/beverages sold separately.

In addition
RAMON AYALA 
will be playing at the Edgewater E Center
on Saturday, May 4th at 8PM.
