La Piazza recently opened to a good buzz.
After our visit it is now "Laughlin Buzz Approved" Pizza!
There’s a great new pizza place in Laughlin. After getting a couple of pies we discovered it is tastier than the raves we have heard in our Facebook group.
La Piazza is owned by the same people who brought in the Italian place, IL Cortile, at the mall food court. The pizzas are simply the best we have had in Laughlin in a long time.
We figured the Meatball Pizza would be very good since we have had the meatballs at IL Cortile. It did not disappoint.
For our second pizza we went with a Sausage and Mushroom.
Both pizzas were outstanding in their own way. Among our group who devoured them, the vote was split evenly on which one was better.
La Piazza features NY Style Pizza as well as several specialty Pizzas. They do have several different styles of Pizza by the slice and other items including Calzones, Stromboli and Garlic Knots on the menu. See menu below.
The crust was a perfect, New York Style. The sauce was high quality, as was the cheese. Mushrooms were fresh, not canned.
Service for two piping hot pizzas to go was fast (less than 15 minutes) and very friendly.
La Piazza is a new comer to the Pizza choices in Laughlin. Perhaps next year they will be a contender for Best Pizza against Mama's Pizzeria or Pint's Pizza.
Mama's Pizzeria took the honors of Best Pizza in the Best of Laughlin 2017 Voting and Pint's won in 2016 and 2015.
We can’t wait for another visit to try some of the other Pizza options. They also offer delivery (call for details about availability) .
Prices were very good, especially for the quality. Large 16 inch Pizza starts at $13.75 with $1.75 for each additional topping. Large specialty Pizzas are $19.75.
