Laughlin Visitor Volume up for July of 2022

Visitor Volume data released by the LVCVA showed a nice 8.2% increase in Laughlin for July of 2022 compared to July of 2021.
But comparing the number of visitors in 2022 to the number of visitors in 2019, when there was no pandemic, Laughlin is still down ‐29.2%Totals and comparison by year:
July 2022 129,000 visitors
July 2021 119,200 visitors
July 2019 182,300 visitors (no COVID-19 Pandemic)
Year to Date (through July) statistics are now up slightly, +1.1% compared to 2021, but still down -33.0% compared to 2019

2022: 745,700 Visitors
2019: 1,124,600 Visitors
Average daily room rates were down -9.6% for July 2022
The number of passengers coming in to the Airport (from chartered flights ) also is still down sharply and has contributed to the loss of visitors. Visitor numbers are down ‐29.0% comparing July of 2022 to July of 2021 and down ‐67.3% comparing July of 2022 to July of 2019.
