The owner of the Colorado Belle and Edgewater Casino-Hotels has announced it is building a new 4 million dollar amphitheater in Laughlin, NV. The site will to the west, and a short way up the hill from the Prime Outlet mall. This location is only a short distance from Casino Drive.
Marnell Gaming LLC, plans to have the venue open in February with an expected capacity for 9,300 to 21,000 guests. In addition to concerts, the venue is expected to host rodeo events, boxing, MMA, and other festivals. The design will be modular so sections can be added or moved depending on the size of the event to be held.
The first concert is already scheduled, and a couple other events have already been announced:
March of 2014: Reba McEntire.
May 3rd: Los Tigres Del Norte/Paquita
October 4th: Comedy Festival with Larry the Cable Guy as the headliner
