At the end of January we reported that several Laughlin restaurants received less than A ratings in recent health inspections by the Southern Nevada Health District.
A check of the latest inspections shows another Laughlin restaurant got a terrible report.
We had heard good recommendations for Minato and read fairly positive reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor. Several times we were going to try Minato in Laughlin but happened to stop there on days they were closed. After seeing the latest Southern Nevada Health District restaurant inspection for 1/28/2014 maybe we were lucky.
The violations are listed on the Southern Nevada Health District Restaurant Inspection page. |
According to their website, the SNHD says they will routinely close down any restaurant that receives 40 demerits (or more). Minato appeared to be open for business this week.
