The numbers from the Nevada Gaming Board showed Nevada gaming revenue was flat for April. Only the Las Vegas Strip showed an increase, with a 3.2% percent gain in gambling revenues.
For the rest of the state:
Downtown Las Vegas casinos fell 2.4%
North Las Vegas fell 1.9%
Laughlin fell 4.3% percent
Boulder Strip fell 2.5%
Mesquite fell 4.1%
The rest of of Clark County fell 2.3%
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority on Wednesday reported 3.5 million visitors came to Southern Nevada, a 3.5 percent increase over April 2013. Laughlin visitation is also tracked and showed continued improvement. For the second month in a row, Laughlin visitor volume increased. For April it was up 4.3 percent to 196,553.
