Smokey Hayes BBQ Competition

Saturday is when the general public is invited. Admission is $2 per person, gates open at 10 am. There will be a cash bar and live entertainment by Catbone and The Mustangs.
Sampling starts at 12 noon, tickets will be sold until 3:30 pm or while supplies last.
Samples consist of pork ribs & pork shoulder and tickets are 5 for $10 and include 1 voting chip so you can vote for the People's Choice favorite BBQ. Lines were long at previous events, so come early if you are interested.
Saturday the competitors start early in the morning with judging of BBQ ribs and pork shoulder to take place at 12:30PM and 1PM respectively.
Raffle drawings will be held throughout the day.
All awards including the People's Choice award will be presented around 5PM.
At 7pm an outdoor concert featuring country music artist Jackson Michelson is scheduled. Details.
Tickets to that show are $10 per person.
