Memorial Day Weekend and Memorial Day is always a busy one in Laughlin. 

Although summer isn't officially until next month, the warm temperatures begin and there is increased activity on the Colorado River, Laughlin Riverwalk, and at the Casinos.  

Memorial Day isn't just about enjoying the water, barbecues, music, gaming, or partying.  Enjoy some time in the sun or on the water but be sure not to forget the true reason for Memorial Day. Remembance.  Take some time and attend one of the various ceremonies going on in the area.  

Monday, May 29th - 10am
Laughlin Memorial Day Ceremony 

The ceremony will be by American Legion Richard Springston Post 60, Post 60 Auxiliary, Post 60 Sons of American Legion, Post 60 Legion Riders and the Laughlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 243.

Location:
Flag Plaza in the Fisherman's Access Area
(this is located in the park area just north of the
Riverside Resort, before the bridge)

A lunch will be served at the American Legion located at 1510 Bruce Woodbury Ave after the ceremony.

Two Fireworks shows are scheduled in Laughlin.  

One of them is best viewed along the Laughlin Riverwalk and the other one is at the Avi Casino near their beach area.
