Bike Rally Police Activity Down at least in Bullhead City

Bullhead City, AZ  

Just across the River from Laughlin the Bullhead City Bike Rally took place on the same weekend as the Laughlin River Run.  

According to the Bullhead City Police Department numbers there were less arrests this year but more motor vehicle accidents. 

These numbers only reflect activity on the Bullhead City side of the River and do not include Laughlin.  As of yet figures from the LVMPD for Laughlin, NV have not been made available. 

Statistics reported by Bullhead City PD for the long Bike Weekend (Wednesday-Sunday):

Total Arrests: 
2014-  25 arrests  
2013-  41 arrests  
2012-  47 arrests   

DUI Arrests: 
2014-  1 arrests  
2013-  7 arrests  
2012-  5 arrests   

Narcotics Arrests
2014-  3 arrests  
2013-  2 arrests  
2012-  2 arrests  

Motor Vehicle Accidents
Total Arrests: 
2014-  22    (8 injury accidents, 14 non-injury)
2013-  14    (6 injury accidents, 8 non-injury)
2012-  9     (2 injury accidents, 7 non-injury)

Motorcycles were involved in 6 of the 22 Motor Vehicle Accidents.

*There have been no fatal accidents in the past three years during the Bike Rally
