March Revenue and Visitation Numbers
Overall Nevada Casino revenue rebounded in March to $982.1 million, up 7.6 percent overall from the same period last year. Below are the percentages of gain or loss in revenue broken out by area:
- Las Vegas Strip up 10.9%
- Downtown Las Vegas up 12%
- North Las Vegas up 15%
- Laughlin up 8.3%
- Boulder Strip up 9.6%
- Mesquite was down 8.9%
For the month of March Laughlin also reported a 6.8 percent increase in visitation.
Hotel Occupancy was up 8.3 percentage points to 75.9 percent for the month and the average daily room rate climbed 10.4 percent to $44.81.
For the quarter, Laughlin visitation is up 1.7 percent to 516,386.
