We just heard about the new AHA CANTINA at the Avi Resort and Casino.
They just had their grand opening in April (2014) and it is located just off the beach at the Avi.
The Cantina features a menu that includes Burgers, Tacos, Pulled Pork and Brisket of Beef Sandwiches, Chicken, Beef and Surf and Turf Skewers, Chicken Wings, and much more. They even old fashioned shakes and malts plus desserts. All looks very reasonably priced.

The Cantina is located right next door to the The Avi Tiki Bar (also now open) where you can get drinks and light snacks. We hear they even have a speciality 48 Ounce Margarita!
The last visit we made to the Avi was at the end of September, it was early, a weekday late in the season and the beach was empty. See our pictures here. From now until Summer expect this very popular spot to be very busy. The new Cantina and Tiki Bar seem like a great addition to a nice spot on the River.
