Black Bear Diner Redemption

We reported on two bad health inspections for the Black Bear Diner in Bullhead City, AZ.

See them here from March 6th and the subsequent follow up here on March 14th.

There is now good news.  They seem to have cleaned up their act (and kitchen).  On April 3rd they had a another follow up inspection by the Mohave County Department of Public Health and received a Satisfactory rating.

Here is the summary report from the Mohave Co. Department of Public Health Website:

While we would of rather seen an Excellent rating this is a good sign.

For the time being we personally won't be dining at this location.

We will keep a watch on further inspections with the hope that they continue
to progress instead of fall back into the old pattern of sub par inspections.
