After an increase in July, Visitor Volume data released by the LVCVA showed a tiny 0.9% increase in Laughlin for August of 2022 compared to August of 2021.
Visitor numbers remain far below the last year (2019) when there was no pandemic issues. Comparing the number of visitors in August 2022 to the number of visitors in August 2019, Laughlin is down ‐39.8%Totals and comparison by year:

August 2021 95,600 visitors
August 2019 160,400 visitors (no COVID-19 Pandemic)
Year to Date (through August) statistics are now up slightly, +1.0% compared to 2021, but still down ‐33.9% compared to 2019

The number of passengers coming in to the Airport (from chartered flights ) also is still down and has contributed to the loss of visitors. Visitor numbers are down ‐11.7% comparing August of 2022 to August of 2021 and down ‐65.5% comparing August of 2022 to August of 2019.
