Laughlin Visitor Volume up 5.1% for December 2017

Visitor numbers released by the LVVCA for December of 2017 showed Laughlin had an increase of 5.1% (compared to the same period in 2016).

Visitor numbers released by the LVVCA for December of 2017 showed Laughlin had an increase of 5.1% (compared to the same period in 2016).  

Total Occupancy was up 3.5% with an Average Daily Room Rate also up at $47.47 (a 10.5% increase). 
Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) was $23.45, up 18.9% .



 
Gross Gaming Revenue $31,234,000, up 10.7% (See more on the gaming numbers here)

Laughlin Gaming Revenue Up for December 2017

Nevada gaming numbers for December of 2017 show Laughlin gaming revenue was up 10.75% compared to the same period of December 2016.

 Gaming Revenue was up slightly Statewide for Nevada.  The largest decrease was on the Las Vegas Strip. 


The breakdown by area:

Statewide                        +0.44%

 Las Vegas Strip              -3.25%

 Downtown Las Vegas    +10.02%

 North Las Vegas            +15.96%

 Laughlin                         +10.75%

 Boulder Strip                 -0.88%

 Mesquite                        +9.84%

Where to catch Super Bowl LII in and around Laughlin, Nevada.
Here are some (most) of the places you can catch the game.  Subject to change by the properties.  We recommend going early to many of the places to get a good spot.Keep in mind many of the Casinos also have private viewing/parties for their guests or invited guests.  If you are staying at one, check with them.   Most of the lounges or areas are also require you to be 21 and older.  



Old Town Saloon or Gnat's Landing 
Drink specials at both locations.
The new Kitchen is also open and serving food now at Old Town Saloon.



Blue Lagoon Lounge in Laughlin.  Located at the Bayshore Inn




Laughlin River Lodge - Bourbon Street Casino

 Watch the Big Game on a giant 24 ft. television screen or on one of the 42 other television screens at the Laughlin River Lodge.

Tropicana Laughlin in Tango's Lounge 
Watch the game in high-def.  Plus food and drink specials.

Aquarius Casino Resort
The Big Game will be shown in Splash Lounge.  Open to the public.

Catch the game at:
The Sports Lounge, El Burro Borracho (on the patio) or at Smashburger. 
Watch the game on the huge screen in the Sports Lounge, they will also have food and drink specials and giveaways. No cover.  
Colorado Belle and Edgewater 
Both properties have “Ultimate Man Cave Party Packages” for guests, with special viewing areas.  Check with them for details.  





And finally, if you are not interested in the game (for whatever reason), the public is welcome at the American Legion Post 60 - Richard Springston in Laughlin,  No game. They will be hosting a Stand for your Flag event from 10 a.m. until ?  Reduced drink prices, munchies and you can win thousands of dollars.  Call the Legion at 702-299-1510 for more details.

Rod Stewart to play the Laughlin Event Center in September

Laughlin, Nevada

Rod Stewart will be at the Laughlin Event Center October 20, 2018
The Grammy® award-winner was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and again in 2012 as a member of the band Faces.  

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster directly or through the LaughlinEventCenter.com page.  They will also be available locally in Laughlin at the Edgewater Casino Box Office. 

Watch other Laughlin Casinos for ticket/room packages. 



Cyndi Lauper is the opening act on most of the dates listed on the Rod Stewart website, it has not been announced yet if she will also be on the ticket in Laughlin.

 Uncle Bo's Slow-N-Low is worth the fairly short drive over the bridge from Laughlin, NV,  Since our favorite BBQ spot in Laughlin closed in December Uncle Bo's is the place to go if you want some Barbecue in the Tri-State area. 

 Service is fast and friendly.  The bar is stocked with great beers and specialty drinks. They even have a Happy Hour.   

 This was our second trip there.  We tried it when they first opened and this time it was even better.  Items can be purchased in combos, Ala Cart, our by the pound. 

 Good prices for Authentic, Delicious Barbecue!
