The following notice was posted on the Clark County Assessor website:

The Assessor's Office will be mailing postcards to all residential properties in Clark County by May 3, 2018.  Owner-occupied properties will receive the 3% cap for taxes paid starting July 1, 2018.  All other properties will receive the 4.2% cap.  Even if you have signed a card in the past, and there have been no changes, a new card with signature is required to qualify for the 3% cap.  If you do not receive your postcard by May 18th, please call (702) 455-3882.

Property owners should watch for the postcard, fill it out and mail it back promptly.
