December Gaming Revenue for Laughlin Down 19.59%; Las Vegas Strip Down -50.66%

As expected Laughlin Casino gaming revenue as reported by 

the Nevada Gaming Control Board was down in December.  

The December 2020 report showed a -19.59% decrease compared to December of 2019.

December Gaming Revenue in Laughlin was $26,545,801 compared to $33,012,090 in December of 2019.

February    +5.84%

March        -38.2%      (Casinos Closed March 17th)

April          -100.03%  (Casinos Closed all month)

May           -100.03%   (Casinos Closed all month)

June           -14.61%     (Casinos opened June 4th)

July            -16.95%     

August       -9.44%

Sept.          -2.68%

October     -13.27%

November -18.97%

December  -19.59%

The Laughlin result was better than the Las Vegas Strip, which was down  -50.66%

4 New openings in Laughlin, Nevada

New restaurants or establishments in Laughlin seldom happen.  Here are a few new or reopened places. 

1.   Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory 

A previous Best of Laughlin winner has reopened with a new owner at the Laughlin Outlet Center.   Located just across from the movie theater. 

2.   DENNY'S OPENS IN LAUGHLIN

Denny's has opened at the Edgewater Casino.  It is located in the space where Coco's previously occupied, one level down from the Casino floor, on the Riverwalk level. 

3.   The Island Kitchen

The Island Kitchen has opened at the Laughlin Outlet Center Food Court.  Initial reactions to the new spot has been positive on Laughlin Buzz FB pages.

4.   The Watch Man store

The Watch Man, which has been located at the Riverside Resort for years has closed.   According to sources it will reopen in the Laughlin Outlet Center soon.  Watch for updates.

Wild West Coffee has decided to move on from the Laughlin Outlet Center

 Laughlin, NV

Wild West Coffee, a popular, local small business has closed at the Laughlin Outlet Center. 

A message posted on their Facebook page said:

After four (4) years at the Laughlin Outlet Center, Wild West Coffee has decided to move on.

Our last day of business at the mall is December 31st.

“WE WILL BE BACK!" A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS WE HAVE MADE, for all your support these past four (4) years. We could NOT have done it WITHOUT YOU!!!!

We wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

We wish them well and look forward to seeing them back at a new location!
