Laughlin Visitor Numbers Drop for November 2020

According to the latest LVCVA statistics, Laughlin visitor numbers dropped in November of 2020.

The numbers do not look good, even when comparing year to year, and month to month.

Comparing November 2020 to November 2019

 Nov. 2020  81,200 visitors 

Nov.  2019  139,900 visitors

This is a -42decrease,  

This method is traditionally how comparisons are made, as each month of a calendar year has specific metrics that affect visitation. 

Since the pandemic began, the LVCVA has also been publishing month to month comparisons. 

Comparing November 2020 to October of 2020

Nov. 2020  81,200 visitors 

Oct.  2020  110,600 visitors

This is a -26.6% decrease

Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) was down ‐26.1% to $19.28 (Nov. 2020) compared to $26.09 (Nov. 2019).

Average Daily Room Rate (ADR) was up 9.9% for Nov. 2020, compared to Nov. 2019. 

As we are coming up on the end of the year, comparing the Year to Date numbers:

YTD through Nov. 2020  970,600 visitors

YTD through Nov 2019   1,713,300 visitors

This is a YTD decrease of ‐43.3%

November Gaming Revenue for Laughlin Down 18.97%
