The LVCVA released the latest statistics on visitor numbers for the January of 2022. A look at the data shows that visitor volume was up slightly by 1.3% compared to last January 2021.
However, the number of visitors is still down by -41.1% when compared to January of 2019, when there was no impact from the pandemic.

Visitors via Laughlin/Bullhead City Airport are up +90.3% compared to January of last year, however are still down -46.9% compared to January of 2019 when there was no pandemic.

The important statistic, Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) is down -6.1% comparing January of 2022 vs. 2021 and down -9.2% comparing January of 2022 vs. 2019 when there was no pandemic.

In spite of declining visitor numbers, Gaming revenue for January 2022 is up 25.8% when compared to January of last year. It is still down -9.4% compared to the last non-pandemic year, 2019.
