Tropicana Laughlin is hosting the Cinco De Mayo Celebration & Car Show
Friday-Saturday (May 5-6)
Public viewing of the Car show is free and will be open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
DJ’s will be playing outside on the car lot. A strolling mariachi band will play on the lot and inside the Tropicana. Many vendors will be offering all kinds of apparel and accessories.
A “Grito Contest,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday at the DJ booth. There is no fee to enter the contest and and winners will be awarded trophies.
There will be live music on Victory Plaza in front of the Tropicana, and in Tango’s Lounge inside the casino.
Victory Plaza Music lineup:
Thee Champagne Band will perform from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 9 p.m.- 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Smooth Groove will perform from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. on Friday and 4-8 p.m. on Saturday.
Tango’s Lounge lineup:
Kings of Rhythm from 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Friday and 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. on Saturday.
New Beginnings will play from 9 p.m. -1 a.m. Friday and 4: p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Tropicana will also have food and drinks available for purchase during the car show. There will be a taco stand outside by Victory Plaza as well as and specials at the indoor restaurants.
