A Veteran's Day Ceremony will be held at the Avenue of Flags in the Fisherman's Access Park. This is located just north of the Riverside Resort. The ceremony will be held by the Richard Springston American Legion Post 60, Sons of American Legion Post 60, Post 60 Legion Riders, and the Laughlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 243.
Following the ceremony, the American Legion Post 60 will host a lunch for attendees of the cermony at 1510 Bruce Woodbury Drive in Laughlin.
There are many festivals, events, concerts, and parties scheduled for the Veteran's Day Weekend. Laughlin will be very busy, especially because of the Kid Rock Concert on Saturday night at the Laughlin Event Center. Below are just some of them scheduled:
A Veteran's Day Sunrise Service will be held at the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall on on Saturday, November 11th. Location: At the Point Overlooking the Colorado River on the Riverwalk behind the Pioneer. The Ceremony will start at 8am. They are also hosting a Free Breakfast Buffet for Veterans (must show Military ID) from 6am-10am. Non-Vets price: $5.
