Laughlin Casino and Hotel Closures result in 55.5% drop in March Visitors

Laughlin visitor volume was down -55.5% for the month of March (2020), compared to March (2019).

For all of 2020, visitor volume is down -22.8% Year to Date.  This number is substantially higher than it should be due to the closure of the Casinos on March 17, 2020.   

The breakdown by month (2020) is: 

January     -3.7%  
February   -1.9% 
March        -55.5%   (Casinos shut down on March 17th)

Nevada's casino industry has been closed since March 17, 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.  All the Laughlin Casino Hotels closed and are still waiting for re-opening directives to be announced.  This closure will also severely impact April and May visitor counts.  




Laughlin Casino Gaming Revenue was also down -38.2% (due to the closure in March).    Read More
