"AG for a Day" coming to Laughlin


Nevada Attorney General Paul Laxalt will visit Laughlin on September 20th during his “AG for a Day” tour of Southern Nevada.  

The event takes place at 10 AM at the American Legion post, 1510 Bruce Woodbury Drive.

This is open to the public and everyone is welcome.

The purpose of the tour is to take state government directly to the people. Presentations will be given by Attorney General Laxalt his staff.  These will include topics such open government, guardianships, elder abuse, consumer fraud, domestic violence, taxation, local government finance and military legal services.

Following the presentations, Attorney General Laxalt and his staff will be available to answer questions or hear concerns from members of the community.

Mark your calendars for another important event coming up on September 22nd.

District 3 candidate Jerry Tarkanian to speak at Laughlin Leadership Forum at 5 P.M. on Thursday, Sept. 22, in the American Legion Hall. The public is invited and admission is free; the Forums are sponsored by the Laughlin Economic Development Corporation.
