Nevada Gaming Control - Gaming Revenue for June 2015
First the good news, for Laughlin, Nevada.
Laughlin gaming revenue for June increased by 5.46 percent.
Laughlin also showed gaming revenue increases in 5 out of the 6 previous months as well.
1.55 percent increase for May (2015)
0.12 percent increase in April (2015)
4.5 percent increase in March (2015)
10.6 percent increase in February (2015)
0.79 percent decrease in January (2015)
17.84 percent increase in December (2014)
The rest of the numbers weren't great news for Nevada, especially for the Las Vegas Strip. Gaming revenue statewide declined more than 8.37 percent to $830.9 million during June.
On the Vegas Strip, gaming revenue was down 16.31 percent to $445.5 million.
The Boulder Strip and Mesquite also showed increases of 6.28 percent and 3.89 percent, respectively.
The Control Board also released the 2015 fiscal year totals.
Statewide, gaming revenue declined 1.6 percent for the 12 month period that ended June 30, topping $11 billion. On the Vegas Strip, gaming revenue declined 4.3 percent to $6.3 billion.
