The Mohave Daily News reported that the March 16th Reba McIntyre concert at the Laughlin Amphitheater is sold out (8000 seats).
Traffic on Casino drive will be somewhat diverted to handle the more than normal traffic. Parking apparently will also be at a premium and an added expense. Normally all parking is free at the Laughlin properties. However during this event the The Pioneer Gambling Hall is offering paid parking for $10 which can be redeemed for $10 off your meal at one of their restaurants. The Golden Nugget Laughlin is offering paid parking in their west lot and valet for $10 and the garage for $5 per car. Partakers receive one complimentary casino beverage coupon per car. The River Palms is also offering paid parking in their west lot for $10 which can be redeemed for $10 off the buffet. No word on parking or fees at the other Casinos, or what non concert goers can expect as far as parking if they visit one of the properties.
Traffic between the River Palms down to the Golden Nugget will be diverted to the southbound lanes from 4pm to 11pm. The northbound lanes will be used for shuttle drop off and pick up. Although most of the Casinos are within easy walking distance to the Amphitheater, the Colorado Belle, Edgewater, Tropicana, Aquarius, Harrahs, and Riverside Casinos will be offering shuttle service.
The Water taxi will also be running, however, space is limited so plan to go early. The show is at 7PM, the gates will open at 5PM. You can get on this at most of the Casinos. See their website for more details. http://www.riverpassagewatertaxi.com/
