Vineyard Ristorante at Aquarius Casino

Restaurant Review

Vineyard Ristorante at the Aquarius Resort Casino in Laughlin, Nevada

Visited in March 2013

The Vineyard is one of the best "fine-dining" options in Laughlin, and really the only upper scale Italian dining choice.  Located just off the Riverwalk on the Aquarius Casino floor, it features nice decor, wonderful staff, and a nice view of the River from many of the tables.

There were four of us in our party one evening.  We had reservations and were seated at "the best table with a view" according to our server.  Seating is spacious with plenty of room between other guests.  Both booths and tables are available.

As you are browsing the menu and they take your drink order you are immediately presented a basket of fresh rolls (plain and a garlic roll).  With three types of butter, including a tasty sun dried tomato butter. Plus poured bottled water.

For appetizer we had the Mushrooms Casino.  These are large mushrooms stuffed with king crab and pancetta breading finished with wine and mozzarella cheese. Everyone loved them.

There were four of us in our party and everyone tried something different.

The Lasagna is called the Chef’s Choice for good reason.  It is one of the best pasta dishes on the menu.  Lasagna is layered with meat sauce, Italian Sausage and Ricotta cheese and then 1/2 is topped with a delicious Marinara sauce and the other 1/2 is topped with a cream sauce.  If you prefer they will also serve it  topped with just one of the two sauces.  Served with a nice squash.

Veal Marsala was another choice.  Served in a traditional marsala mushroom sauce it was called excellent as well. The veal was perfectly cooked and very tender.  Served with asparagus spears and squash.

Veal Piccata, served in a white wine, lemon and caper sauce.  Came with a side of vegetables or choice of pasta side. Delicious meal, our diner raved about how good it was.

Seafood Pescatore was also wonderful.  It features clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops seasoned with herbs and served with your choice of a red (tomato but not marinara) sauce or white wine sauce over linguine pasta.  The member of our party chose the red sauce, which they loved.  We believe the white whine sauce would be just as good,if not better in this dish.   Be warned this is a huge bowl of pasta packed full of the seafood.

In fact, all the portions are very good size and each one comes with a very fresh salad of greens with tomatoes.  Be sure to try the house specialty dressing, it was amazing.  Our waitress said it is made in-house and the chef won't even reveal the secret ingredients to her.

Two people in our party could not pass up on the tempting Tiramisu (also made in house by the chef).  One of the best they have tried is how it was described.  Other desserts are also available.

Completed the meal with Cappuccinos (served with a rock sugar stick), great finish.

Service was wonderful from everyone, it was casual, not rushed, a very enjoyable relaxing dinner with a great view. There is nothing we can say bad about the Vineyard, it is by far one of our favorite places in Laughlin for a nice or even romantic dinner out.   Make reservations, ask for a table with a view.

There are also delicious steaks, other pasta choices, fish (the orange roughy is wonderful) on the menu.
As of this post here is a link to the menu currently listed online. Remember, things may and do change, so check ahead.
