Mardi Gras, Music, Bull Riding, and Comedy in Laughlin this weekend

There is a little bit of everything going on in Laughlin this coming weekend - March 7-9th (2014). 

Take your pick, great, free music and entertainment, good food, cool drinks, bull riding, dancing, and comedy.  There is something for everyone. 

We already mentioned the annual Mardi Gras Festival on the Laughlin Riverwalk by the Colorado Belle and Edgewater Casinos.  Music (Zydeco and Cajun), Cajun Cuisine, Drinks and what looks like very nice weather.  The festival runs Friday through Sunday. 

Lil' Elmo and the Cosmos

More (free) live music and entertainment is going on inside the Colorado Belle Casino. Rock and Roll played like it is meant to be from Lil' Elmo and the Cosmos. They will be performing at the River Bar Friday through Sunday (8pm to 1am).  This bar is located right off the main Casino floor. Definitely worth catching!  

Just up the street from the Edgewater Casino, the very first event ever held at the new Laughlin Event Center kicks off on Saturday night with CBR - Championship Bull Riding.   Get more details here. 

In the Comedy on the Edge show at the Edgewater Casino, Luis Villasenor and Kevin Young will be performing March 7th-9th.  Tickets are only 10 dollars, no drink minimum. 

And finally on a smaller scale but just as important, the Colorado River Marine Division Music and Dance Extravaganza is taking place in the Starview Room at the Riverside Resort Casino on March 9th (2-6pm)  This annual event is sponsored by the Colorado River Chapter 1st Marine Division Association will help fund the annual 2014 Tri-City Veterans Day Parade.  Music will be provided by the Charley Connor Band as well as some special guests. Dancing, raffles, door prizes, and food and beverages available for purchase.

Remember all times listed are Nevada Time.  Until the time change at 2am on Saturday night Arizona is one hour ahead of Nevada.
